The Wellness Community is a non-profit international organization that seeks to provide a supportive environment for those with cancer and their loved ones through support groups, professionally-led educational programs, nutritional workshops, exercise programs, and mind/body activities. Their programs and services empower the patient and caregiver to take an active role in their journey with, through, and beyond cancer diagnosis.
The Central New Jersey Division is currently looking for volunteers! They are located in Bedminster, New Jersey and host a variety of events for patients, survivors and caregivers. Here’s how you can help:
- Garden! They need help in maintaining their beautifully planted garden that volunteers put together last year. This is a fun and lovely way to help the center, and volunteers would only have to donate a little of their time every month or so!
- Clean! They need people to come profesionally clean their beautiful building so that they can provide even better services to the people they help and have a healthier environment for patients. The center is a restored home.
If you are interested in volunteering for the central New Jersey division please contact Eunice, the center director by email through firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (908) 658-5400. To learn more about the center, click here.
