The CMA Foundation

The CMA Foundation primarily began in 1963 after branching off as a charitable foundation from the California Medical Association. They compromise and disperse over $1 million dollars in grants and loans to medical students interested in the medical field. The foundation works towards many causes including a project concentrating on addressing the link between Human Papillomavirus [HPV] and Cervical Cancer. Interns and/ or students can build medicine and public health communication to improve their skills in understanding health disparities and the importance of preventing Cervical Cancer, ultimately HPV.
